Hello! I am Autumn -
a Chicago-based photographer with a background spanning photojournalism, studio work, product photography, and landscapes. I've covered stories internationally, shot commercial campaigns, and spent a lot of time in the field.
The through line in all of it is pretty simple: I care about people, and that shapes how I work. I'm drawn to projects where dignity and authenticity matter, whether that's a nonprofit campaign, an editorial assignment, or a wedding.
As a trans woman, I bring a particular awareness to how people are represented in front of a camera. I work hard to make that experience feel comfortable and to produce images that actually reflect who someone is.
I'm currently open to full-time roles, freelance contracts, and project-based work. If something here feels like a fit, I'd love to hear from you.
Documentary
Photojournalism, weddings, nonprofit storytelling, and editorial work. I photograph real moments with care and intention, and I'm drawn to projects where the human element is at the center.
Studio
Commercial, portrait, and product work. I have a solid technical foundation in lighting and genuinely enjoy the creativity that comes with working in the studio.
Landscape
Fine art and editorial landscape photography, thoughtfully composed and emotionally resonant. Available for licensing and high-quality print.
For Nonprofits
I love working with organizations whose missions support the people and communities around them. If your work centers on people, community, or social change, we’ll likely be a great fit. I offer flexible, project-based pricing and am happy to discuss what’s realistic for your budget.
Openly Queer
As a trans woman, I am genuinely excited to work with LGBTQ+ clients, organizations, and families. All are welcome.
